84 Ranch, Pagosa Springs
The Ground Up Tour
A 50-minute guided tour of a working regenerative ranch, and a lesson in where your food really comes from.
This tour is about learning what agriculture is and how it's done here. Walk the pastures with one of our ranch hands and see the practices behind regenerative ranching up close: rotating the animals to fresh pasture every week or two so the land can rest and regrow, building healthy soil, and raising animals the way nature intended.
Meet our heritage hogs, goats, and cattle along the way, and ask anything. The ranch hands do this work every day and love explaining why we do it the way we do.
What's included
- 50-minute guided tour
- What regenerative agriculture is, explained in plain terms
- Rotational grazing and soil health, seen up close
- Meet the heritage hogs, goats, and cattle
Good to know

- All ages welcome. Children 12 and under must stay with a parent or guardian, who is responsible for supervising them at all times.

The Founder's Walk
A 50-minute private tour of 84 Ranch with Brian, the founder who turned a dream into a working regenerative ranch.
Walk the pastures together, meet our heritage hogs, goats, and cattle, and see how we rotate the animals to fresh pasture every week or two, giving the land time to rest and regrow.
Along the way, Brian shares how the ranch began: leaving a 16-year corporate career, the pigs that showed up unplanned, and the fences and permits that turned an idea into a working ranch. He'll teach you the practices behind it, from rotational grazing to building soil, and share his vision for raising animals the right way, producing clean, healthy food, and where 84 Ranch is headed next.
Bring your questions about regenerative ranching, raising your own food, or starting a ranch of your own. Nothing is off limits.

Take a turn on the tractor too. This is the real daily work of 84 Ranch, done side by side with the ranch hands who do it every day.
