Harvest Night Benefit
Friday, October 2, 2026 · 84 Ranch, Pagosa Springs
One evening on a working farm and ranch, raising the money that teaches the next generation of farmers and ranchers how to do this work. Reserve a table, bid from wherever you are, or put your company's name on the night.
If you've worked with me at NuWave Lending, you know I don't send these often. 84 Ranch is one of the most exciting regenerative ranches I've come across — and they've launched a nonprofit to put the next generation of farmers and ranchers on real ground, with real animals and real equipment. October 2nd in Pagosa Springs is the night that funds it, and your chance to be part of what they're building.
Why this one
Regenerative Youth of 84 Ranch trains young people in four working roles — grower, livestock manager, ranch mechanic, ranch manager — not in a classroom, and not on a simulator. The average American farmer is 56 years old, and this is one of the few things I've seen doing something concrete about that. The ranch is Brian Wattier's, built after he left a corporate career, and Friday night is the single largest fundraising night the program has all year. NuWave Lending is a Founding Partner of the festival. And if Colorado is a long way from you, you can still bid on the auction or back the night from your desk.
Four ways to be part of it
Two of them you can do from anywhere in the country.
The best seats in the room
Reserve a table
A reserved table at the front of the program, close enough to the auction to be part of it. Your name on the table. Served where you sit — the youth program's own students bring the food and drinks to you, which is the part everybody remembers. A bidder paddle waiting at your seat, ready the moment you are.
There are six tables in the room — four reserved and two benefactor. When they are gone, they are gone.
- $1,500Reserved Table of SixBring your peopleSix seats together at the front and your name on the table. Drinks poured for the table all evening, and a board of 84 Ranch pasture-raised pork brought out for your table alone. Four tables.
- $2,500Benefactor Table of SixThe heart of the whole nightEverything above, your name read aloud from the stage, and a founding family membership to 84 Ranch when the program opens. Two tables.
From anywhere in the country
Bid on the auction, or just give
The live auction is the heart of the night, and most of what's in it only exists because this is a working ranch — a whole pasture-raised hog, custom cut to your order and delivered to your door; a weekend in one of the ranch cabins; a private dinner cooked at the barn; the ranch's own tallow skin-care collection; a day working this land alongside us; a year's sponsorship of an animal that carries your family's name. You do not have to be in the room to win any of it.
Or skip the bidding and give straight to the youth program. Every dollar goes to Regenerative Youth of 84 Ranch.
If you're coming to the ranch, the auction is included with every Harvest Night ticket — there is no separate ticket for the auction.
For businesses on this list
Put your name on the night
Friday night is still unnamed. Sponsorship is the most direct way to move the number, it happens before the event, and it comes with real visibility in front of a room of ranchers, business owners and families — plus year-round recognition through the ranch.
- $5,000Presenting Sponsor“Harvest Night Benefit, presented by ___.” Named from the stage, on the page, and in the program. Includes a reserved table of six.
- $3,500Supper UnderwriterYou cover the meal, so we can tell the room every dollar raised goes to the kids. Six seats at the benefit.
- $2,500The HarvestYour name on the demonstration most people came to see. Four seats at the benefit.
- $2,500Auction SponsorOn every bid sheet and named between lots. Four seats at the benefit.
- $1,000Bonfire & ConcertYour name on the last two hours — when the asking stops, the fires get lit and the band plays the room out. Two seats at the benefit.
