A Family-Run Regenerative Ranch in the Heart of the Rockies

84 Ranch is family regenerative ranch located in the Rocky Mountains of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We grow organic produce and have pasture raised livestock from Heritage Pasture Pigs, Cattle, Chickens, Goats and breed Colorado Mountain Dogs. Soon we will be offering Ranch Stays where our guests can stay in our Signature Cabins and experience or sit back and relax while watching our team work away on the ranch....

Heritage Pork Your Whole Family Will Love

Unlike the bland, dry pork found in supermarkets, our heritage pork is deeply flavorful and naturally juicy. Children who "don't like pork chops" suddenly become enthusiastic converts, and home cooks discover just how incredible properly raised pork can taste.

Raised without antibiotics or hormones on open pastures in the Colorado sunshine, our pigs live stress-free lives with space to roam and forage. This natural lifestyle doesn't just produce happier pigs—it creates pork that's richer in vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, and flavor than conventional alternatives.

Never Wonder What's in Your Meat Again

How many times have you stood in the grocery store, staring at plastic-wrapped pork with vague labels and unclear origins? With an 84 Ranch pork share, that uncertainty ends.

We believe you deserve to know exactly where your food comes from and how it was raised. Our pigs are born and raised on our family ranch, where they enjoy fresh mountain air, open pastures, and a natural diet supplemented with non-GMO feed. We never use antibiotics, hormones, or growth promoters of any kind.

Have Questions?
We Have Answers.

Get quick solutions to your common lawn care concerns, from mowing to pest control.

Are your Products Organic?

Our products are not USDA certified Organic but all of our farming and animal stewardship practices are in line with, if not above, USDA requirements for being certified organic. We never spray our fields with harmful pesticides or herbicides.

How much freezer space will I need for my pork share?

As a general rule, you'll need approximately 1 cubic foot of freezer space for every 25-30 pounds of meat. A whole share (95-105 lbs) requires about 4 cubic feet, a half share about 2 cubic feet, and a quarter share about 1 cubic foot. A standard chest freezer or the freezer compartment of most refrigerators can easily accommodate a quarter share.

How do You Define Pastured?

We like to say our livestock is “truly pasture raised” food labels have blurred the lines for commercial growers but our animals are outside 24/7 They are moved onto fresh pasture/forest each day providing new forage and fresh bedding.

What makes your pork different from what I can buy at the grocery store?

Everything! Our heritage breed Mangalitsa-Duroc pigs are raised outdoors on pasture, where they express their natural behaviors and eat a diverse diet. This creates pork with exceptional marbling, flavor, and nutritional profile. Additionally, our regenerative farming practices mean our pork is raised in a way that benefits the environment rather than depleting it.

Do you grow or use products that are genetically modified?

No, our livestock is fed a locally made, non-gmo feed that is completely corn and soy free. In addition to daily feed, our livestock also get a good portion of their nutritional intake from the grass and bugs within the pasture they are raised on.

Can we Pickup at the Farm?

Yes, pickup from our farm in Pagosa Springs, CO is available, please choose this option during checkout.

How long will my pork share last in the freezer?

When properly vacuum-sealed (as all our cuts are), your pork will maintain peak quality for 12-18 months in a properly functioning freezer. We recommend using ground pork and organ meats within 6 months for optimal flavor and texture.
